Momo Handles in The Block 2026 Main Walk-In Wardrobes

Week Three of The Block 2026 turns its attention to one of the most personal spaces within the home: the main walk-in wardrobe.

Across five distinctly different interiors, the wardrobes by Freedom Wardrobes explore tonal timber, soft neutral cabinetry, architectural stone and considered storage. Yet within each space, it is the finer details that help define the overall design language.

For each home, a different selection from Momo Handles has been used to complement the surrounding joinery; demonstrating how proportion, profile and finish can subtly shift the character of cabinetry.

Adam & Jolene: Aspen in Bronze

Warm and tonal, Adam and Jolene's walk-in wardrobe centres around Nordic Oak Woodmatt across both the Ava-profile doors and internal cabinetry.

Against the natural timber palette, the Momo Handles Aspen Pull Handle 320mm in Bronze introduces depth without interrupting the calm material story. Its warm solid brass finish sits naturally alongside the timber, while providing a strong vertical detail across the expansive cabinetry.

The result is a space that feels cohesive and quietly refined, complemented by a Dekton Khalo stone benchtop and an extensive collection of considered wardrobe storage.

Chantel & Wyatt: Dallas and New Hampton in Brass

Chantel and Wyatt take a softer, more decorative approach.

Freedom Wardrobes' Sierra IV cabinetry in Greige Matt is paired with Nordic Oak Woodmatt internals, creating a warm neutral foundation throughout the space.

The cabinetry is finished with the Momo Handles Dallas D Handle 192mm in Brushed Matt Brass, paired with the New Hampton Round Knob 32mm in Matt Brass.

Using two hardware forms within the same finish family introduces another layer of detail to the joinery. The elongated D handle creates structure, while the round knob brings a smaller-scale accent across the surrounding cabinetry.

Together, they complement the softness of the Greige Matt finish and the architectural presence of the stone island.

Lisa & Rosco: Casey in Matt Bronze

A lighter material palette creates a very different backdrop for the Momo Handles Casey Big D Handle 736mm in Matt Bronze and Momo Handles Casey D Handle 320mm in Matt Bronze.

Pale Oak Woodmatt flows across both the doors and internals, creating a calm and seamless base. Against it, the generous 736mm scale of the Casey D Handle becomes a deliberate design feature.

Its elongated proportion draws the eye vertically through the cabinetry, while the Matt Bronze finish introduces warmth and contrast without overpowering the natural timber.

Courtney & Sev: A Layered Hinoki Story

Courtney and Sev's walk-in wardrobe explores a rich, earthy combination of Alpaca Sand cabinetry, Linen Whisper Matt internals and Dekton Trevi stone.

Here, the hardware is layered rather than uniform.

The Momo Handles Hinoki D Handle appears in 160mm finished in Brushed Bronze.

Using a family of complementary forms allows the hardware to respond to different cabinetry proportions while maintaining a consistent design language throughout the space.

The Brushed Bronze finish adds another warm element to the tonal palette, reinforcing the relaxed, tactile quality of the interior.

Rick & Tayla: Ferrara in Gunmetal

Rick and Tayla's wardrobe takes a cleaner, more contemporary direction.

Nordic Oak Woodmatt cabinetry is detailed with Linea-profile doors, while the cool organic tones of the Dekton Nara benchtop create contrast within the predominantly timber palette.

The Momo Handles Ferrara Lip Pull 265mm in Gunmetal provides the finishing detail. Rather than becoming a dominant feature, its understated profile sits neatly against the cabinetry, while the darker Gunmetal finish creates a crisp visual punctuation throughout the space.
